ScamLens is built to protect you — including from us. Here is exactly what happens with your data, in plain language.

Your account

In the free version your account (name, email and password) is stored only on your own device, in your browser's local storage. We do not run a central user database, so your account does not follow you to another device and we cannot see or recover it.

Content you analyze

To produce a risk score, the text and screenshots you submit are sent to Pollinations.ai, a free third-party AI service that performs the analysis. Your analyzed content is not stored on ScamLens servers. Because of this, never paste passwords, card numbers, bank details or verification codes into the analyzer or the chat assistant.

Google sign-in

Signing in with Google is handled by Google. We receive your name, email address and profile photo, which are used only to create your on-device account.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep your subscription status linked to your email address so Plus and Pro features can be unlocked.
